What a busy few weeks it has been. I apologize for the late posting of this blog...but this is the first day where I have had a few hours to sit down and write about the competition :)
Last weekend was the 3rd World Cup of the season in Nanjing, China. Prior to Nanjing there was another Chinese World Cup in Chongqing. I decided to not attend Chongqing this year and compete in the Nanjing World Cup instead!
In Nanjing I had my best qualifying round ever! I sent all 5 boulder problems and qualified in 2nd place in my group and 3rd overall. Not only was this my highest qualification round, it was also the first time I have ever sent all 5 boulder problems in a World Cup qualifier!
You can view the qualifiers video below:
Semi-finals took place on an incredibly hot day and it made for a tough round for everyone. Unfortunately I did not have any tops in this round, only 1 bonus. I finished in 18th place and continued to fulfill my goal that I would make semi-finals at every World Cup this season!
You can view the video of semi-finals below:
Now I am in Tokyo getting ready for the next World Cup which takes place on Saturday/Sunday.
I hope you enjoyed this quick blog!
On to the next adventure...
