This blog is being written a bit late, life has been busy in between the Meiringen and Kazo World Cups! Between travel, training, and more travel there hasn't been a lot of down time. It's safe to say that this trip is passing by quickly and I cannot wait to tell you about the first part of it.
Prior to Meiringen I spent a few days in Zurich enjoying the city and of course, training! While I was in Zurich I was able to climb at Milandia and Le Minimum. Both gyms were great! I especially loved eating at the restaurant in Le Minimum, it was some of the best food I have ever had in my life!
Meiringen was a beautiful mountain town. It reminded me a lot of Vail, Colorado (USA), which made me feel at home since I have competed in Vail for so many years.
Qualifiers went well, but unfortunately I was 1 top out of semi-finals. I climbed my best and am always learning new things to work on for next time. It was a good World Cup to start the season and I am looking forward to refining my climbing.
I will post my blog about Kazo in the next few days as well :)
On to the next adventure...
