What a crazy few weeks of traveling it has been. Portland, Maui, San Diego, and back home to Arizona, I'm struggling to keep the days straight!
For a quick recap of the competition, it was awesome! Vertical Hold in San Diego always hosts great competitions with an awesome turnout. The problems were set hard for the competition, so it was fun to have a challenge. After the red point, there was a dyno comp, which was crazy fun to watch and to watch everyone try the different dynos. It still amazes me how far some people can dyno!
I ended up placing first in open alongside one of my good climbing friends Julian Bautista. We grew up competing together, so it's always fun to see him and compete together again.
Now I'm back home for a few weeks and getting settled back into the non-traveling groove!
On to the next adventure...
