Alright so it’s time for another blog, this time about my awesome trip to San Diego and LA!
This trip, like every trip to Cali, was great! I’ll do my best to tell it in a logical order.
The first few days were spent in San Diego, climbing, visiting Balboa Park, and hitting up the beach.
On Thursday, I also visited Roxy in Huntington Beach. It was crazy to see their headquarters, the building was absolutely beautiful inside and out! Later that night there was a local mini comp at Vertical Hold that I attended. The comp was really fun, a lot of younger kids were competing which was really cool. I ended up winning the comp and having a great time!
The next day, I went on a tour of the Red Bull Headquarters, which was also crazy amazing, and tried a really unique restaurant in Santa Monica called Raw. At Raw all of their food is raw, so cooked under a certain temperature, as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. Restaurants like this just make eating healthy so easy!
On Saturday I went to Disneyland, aka, the happiest place on earth! I think we stayed a total of ten hours, which was well worth it. We also checked out the Sanuk store in Downtown Disney, which was absolutely beautiful!
Finally on Sunday I spent the day training at Arcadia Rock Climbing, a local gym with some of the best walls in the country. After this, I went to the La Brea tar pits, and then shopping on Rodeo Drive!
Then on Monday, my trip came to an end. Even though I spent a week in California, it wasn’t nearly enough time. On the way home I stopped by the Sanuk office again, it was great to see everyone like always and catch up.
So now I’m back home, and more blogs about more adventures are to come!
